Sending lots of love! They say losing a parent and losing a child are the worst losses. I definitely believe it. The first few weeks are intense, raw, and surreal. Not to say it gets easier from there, but you will start to figure out how to get through your days (moment by moment). Don’t compare yourself to anyone else or worry about whether your doing it right. Do whatever feels right to you. Hugs. XO

i recently lost my mama on April 7, 2017. Had transferred to my home from a horrible nursing home. I took care of her for a week. I am lost.
