My daughter is almost 6. She loves to sing to the songs on the radio. There are a few songs I censor ( by turning the volume down at certain parts) others we change the words to sometimes. But really did you ever notice how many songs say Hell? Even our sweet, family favorite taylor swift is not always so innocent. But then again you make a valid point about songs from our childhood. At 6 I was also singing Madonna and Michael Jackson. Not always the most appropriate songs for our parents to let us listen to. Love your blog and thoughts on motherhood.
