Have you heard of GiftMonk.com? It’s this great website that compiles gift ideas for everyone in your life. They recently contacted me to contribute to a list of the best gift ideas for moms…selected by moms.
I immediately rattled off my list in my mind. All things that are personalized and speak directly to the heart. Thought I would share my contribution.
My 4 Top Mom Gifts:
- Name Jewelry – My Mom bought me a stackable ring for my birthday. Each ring has the name of one of my children on it. It was purchased from Heidi J Hale Design. I wear it every day and have had so many compliments on it. Very affordable! The turnaround time was a bit lengthy, but it was so worth the wait.
- Handwriting Jewelry – I used a sample of Cameron’s handwriting to have this necklace made. It is such a personal momento to remember him. There are several Etsy sites out there that do this. You can also find it on Amazon. There really are a lot of options to choose from and fit the style of the Mom you are buying for.s
- Hand/Foot Print Kits – I have these adorable ceramic hand/foot prints for my older kids. They were done when they were young. Right now, they hang in each child’s bedroom next to their growth charts. I love looking at them because it’s a reminder of just how little they once were. There are kits out there you can buy. Better yet, you can make them at home for next to nothing! We did this project when my youngest turned 1.
- Personal Art Projects – There are so many adorable, easy ideas on Pinterest! I have Christmas tree ornaments that have my kids hand prints on them, turned into snow men. Then there is the canvas that says “I Love You” and has their thumb print hearts on it. So many ideas that are very inexpensive and quick.
