Let’s be honest, A peanut butter sandwich can be boring. Especially when packing a lunch and eating the same thing over and over again. We are always looking for ways to shake it up a bit. This peanut butter sandwich is so tasty! It’s a great spin on the original.
I first discovered these at Tropical Smoothie. When we moved to Florida…no more Tropical Smoothie. So now I make them at home.
What you will need:
- Flat bread sandwich rounds
- Peanut butter (we like all natural)
- Granola (I pick the cheapest option at the store)
- 1 – Banana (1/4 of a banana per sandwich)
- Honey
Preparation: Less than 10 minutes
Lightly toast the flat bread. Add a thin layer of peanut butter on the inside of each flat bread. This will help hold everything together. Thinly slice your banana. Layer the slices on one side of gooey peanut butter goodness. Break up the granola if it’s really big pieces and sprinkle a bit on top of the banana. Then very lightly drizzle some honey on top (a little goes a long way). Put the sandwich together. YUM!
My kids have always loved these! They even hold up well in a lunch box.
