Crack Pretzels – Buttery Garlic Ranch Pretzel Recipe

I don’t often share recipes. When I do, you know they are good! So good that I understand why they call these “crack” pretzels. They are seriously addicting!

Normally, I’m not much for pretzels. Unless they are soft pretzels dipped in cheese or used for the crust of strawberry pretzel salad, I could take them or leave them. Something made me give this recipe a try though. I’m so glad I did.

Yesterday we had friends over for game night. The plan was to have everyone bring appetizers/snacks/desserts to share. I had no idea what I was going to make (aside from sweet & sour meatballs). I began to scour Pinterest as any normal person would. Thank you to Big Rigs ‘n Lil’ Cookies, this crack pretzels recipe popped up and drew me in. Simple. Snacky (not a word?!). Addicting!

This recipe won my vote. There was only a small ziplock back left so I know they were a hit. My daughter and I finished them off at a picnic today in the park. She’s already asking to make more. So I’m sharing the recipe with you. Make them for you next family gathering, party, or just to have around the house.

Crack Pretzels – A Buttery Garlic Ranch Pretzel Recipe

16 oz bag pretzels

4 oz butter flavor popcorn oil

1 oz package ranch dip mix

2 tsp garlic powder (I did just slightly more)

In a large bowl, pour in all of the pretzels. Drizzle the popcorn oil over the top. Mix it with your hands to evenly distribute the oil all over the pretzels. Add the ranch dip mix and garlic powder. Again, mix it with your hands. Spend a few minutes really mixing it to ensure the powder is evenly distributed. Spread the pretzels out on a baking sheet. Leave them out to dry for a couple of hours.

Happy snacking! You’re welcome. 😉
